The goal is to quantify the potential of urban areas for renewable energy production and to explore measures for the specific, useful expansion of renewable energy production in the urban spaces. The RMA supports with the know-how from the research results and the Fachschule Nordhausen by developing methods.

The goal is to create an updated and extended database for  Preyer´sche Kinderspital and to improve the database for the daily environmental management and the environmental statement of 2002.

FCKW Rückbau – Sustainable CFC Management Austria

Project goal

Goal is to update the quantification of the CFC stocks, and, based on the EU Ozone Regulation, to draw an affordable, practice-oriented and sustainable CFC management concept for Austria. In addition, a concrete step-by-step base for the implementation is to be drafted, so to keep the CFC emissions from old buildings as low as possible.

 

VEMED II – Enhancement of the Base for an Efficient Phasing-out of PVC-containing Medical Articles

Project goal

The goal is to support the hospitals of the KAV in the efficient phase-out of PVC-containing medical articles. This way, the basis for a phase-out of PVC-containing medical article will be enhanced and the hospitals will be supported in their efforts for the phase out.

Umweltschutz kann nicht auf eingegrenzte Bereiche beschränkt werden, sondern er muss umfassend und differenziert erfolgen. Die Methode der Stoffflussanalyse erlaubt eine differenzierte, quantitative Erfassung, Bewertung und Interpretation von Stoffhaushaltssystemen. Dabei wird neben einzelnen Gütern auch die Ebene von chemischen Elementen und deren Verbindungen (Stoffe) betrachtet.
